North Idaho Eye Institute wanted to update their website. We created a template for what the site would look like. I used that to create the actual site.
They wanted to empasize their logo on their first page with some flash animation and then on subsequent pages, emphasize the content. I created the flash header for the index page that highlights their two offices and shows off their beautiful logo as well as some very nice photography of the local area.
They also wanted some slideshows on the site as well as navigation that popped. I created custom nav buttons to match their color scheme that are embossed.

AllCom Electronics needed to put a search function on their site to be able to activate their 10,000 components for their customers. I help them with regular updates of the database.

Portrait of a Town is a project envisioned by a local artist, Barbara Mueller who created videos of 180 people/couples who hold the history of the Coeur d'Alene community. The database I designed enables the photo pages to be slowly populated and then each image to be linked to a dynamically created, individual page for each photo.

This site also features a "tag cloud" of categories that enables people to take in a large amount of groupings in a single look. This approach was needed to help users see all the categories without having to sort through a really long list.

Harmony Yoga added yoga teacher training to their program and wanted a different look for that very-different part of their teaching.

I worked with the owner to come up with an entry page that takes people into the site.

Art Heart and Soul is Patrick Yesh, an artist, who wanted a redesign of his site. We worked together to come up with a way to showcase his beautiful portfolio.

Cheryl Says represents Cheryl Miller who is a nutritionist who changes people's lives. Her specialty is helping people resolve their medical maladies using the foods they like to eat. I worked side-by-side with Cheryl to develop the color scheme, the logo and the illustrations. The header on the first page is an animation I created in Flash. Cheryl Says.

Evolution and Consciousness is a blog set up in Wordpress. I set up this site for the owner so he could promote a book and a comtemplative retreat center. I also designed and created the header based on our conversations. Evolution and Consciousness.

GSSAC is a non-profit organization in Spokane, WA that works to prevent substance abuse and violence in Spokane County. They were dissatisfied with their existing website and wanted to add content. They also wanted some more color in their site that would make it want people to stay there and look around. With 50 pages on their site, they needed to organize it in such a way that people could find what they were looking for. I designed the header and suggested the font. GSSAC.

North Idaho Unitarian Universalists (NIUU) is a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association in Coeur d'Alene. They did not have a website and wanted a way for people to find them in the community. They currently show up on the first page for the searches we targeted. I built the header based on photos that they took. I found a chalice and added some transparency. Colors were chosen to match the colors they use. NIUU.

Fish On the Brain is an informational site by a woman who has a local business in Spokane and specializes in raising fish. She has always felt like she has something to share about raising fish and building functional and healthy aquariums and wanted a way to share that information. This site was built on drupal also which allows her to completely manage the information on her site. The main photo used for the header is a picture of one of her many tanks. She chose the colors for the site.

International Eye Institute is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to provide adult and pediatric eye care and surgery to people of impoverished regions around the globe. For the header of this site I used an impressive photo that they had of a volcano in Guatemala and superimposed some photos onto the image to showcase their professionalism and personal caring.

The colors I chose produce a striking result and also match the beautiful colors that are indicative of the region. I put together a slide show of their photos and am working with the staff to get some subtitles. I've left numbers under each photo to make it easier for the staff to match the subtitle with the photo. International Eye Institute.

Living Springs Assisted Living Home houses 14 seniors that need help. They had no website before and wanted to redo their Logo. I created the logo from some images from a stock photo site I use and then came up with some interesting fonts, colors and filters for the actual letters used in the Logo. Currently I'm waiting for additional photos and content to finish the site up. Living Springs.

Kellogg Rental is a new website. They wanted to build a traditional website as fast as possible that would also be inexpensive. The website would showcase their vacation property as well as show and describe the myriad activites that vacationers can enjoy in both the winter and summer. From the photos they provided and some I purchased, I put together several different photo collages for the headers of the pages. I also created a logo that can provide a consistent touchstone as the visitor moves from page to page.

A Day on the Lake was an update on an existing website. The company owner wanted a website that showed many of the different activities that could be done with the boat and jetski rentals available. She also wanted to showcase her vacation rentals. I created the photo collage for the header. Since she wanted to be able to add the text herself to the pages, I gave her access to all the pages via the content management system I provide my clients. Because they want to be ranked highly in Google searches, we've started a pay-per-click ad program.

Healing Waters Center provides services to their clients that help them bring balance and well-being to their lives. They did not have a website so we worked together to create a navigation and look that worked for them. They want to manage the content themselves so I gave them access to a content management system that is very easy to use and free. Healing Waters Center.

Gathering Thyme Ministries is a new website. The owner wanted a website that helps people see all the ways that she can be of service. I suggested that we have different headers for each different type of activity she does. I found some images in IStockPhoto that she selected from and she had a local artist create an image for the Reiki section. The left side of the header (about 20% from the left) is one we purchased and then I added some artwork to help the header span across the page.

Angela Marie Project is Angela Marie singer/songwriter (and friends) who wants a website to direct interested parties to so they can sample her songs and see where the next gigs are. Angela Marie is recording and is on cdbaby.com and on a Idaho Wildlife Federation CD. She needed something up very fast with an expectation that the complete site would be ready when her position in my queue came up. I was able to, with her ideas and photos, build a site that was satisfactory for her in a day. When we worked on the final site, I created a flash animation header for the first page and created a photo collage for that header and photo collages for unique headers for other pages. The slide show is an attractive addition that scrolls through images on its own or can be manually controlled. The video on her site showcases the band.

Golf Free Cancun is a new site. Diane and Jerry Shriner wanted to offer their VIP Founding Membership in the Palace Resorts with Certificates for Unlimited Golf. Diane and I designed the look and feel of the site. She did a lot of the keyword identification herself after we discussed an SEO strategy.

Fullwiler Dental had a website they were not happy with and wanted a revised version with a new domain name. They wanted a background that showed the Coeur d'Alene Lake. I took a photo and animated birds flying across the stylized name. They wanted the birds to fly across once and then stop since they thought continuous flying would be distracting from the information on the site. They wanted a slideshow on the front page. The timing of the slideshow images matches the arrival of the names of the doctors on the flash header. The Flash header becomes a standard jpg if the browser does not have Flash enabled. The team at Fullwiler Dental want to project a professional feel but also want to showcase their friendliness and their playfulness. There are some photos of their beautiful office as well as some playful photos and animation. JavaScript is used throughout the site to enable a lot of questions and answers to be displayed "above the fold".

The Leatherworks had a website for many years they were not happy with that did not have a shopping cart. We worked together to design a site using their existing logo with a color scheme that matched some of the colors in the logo as well as the browns that match most of their leather products. We shot a video and then converted it to Flash media that shows one of the owners demonstrating their slippers. We also put a shopping cart on their site that has cart admin that allows them to make their own product additions and deletions. Now they can come to their store in Coeur d' Alene, ID and just check their email to find what products have been ordered and immediately ship them out to customers.

The New Moon Energetics owner wanted to update her existing site. She provided the home page graphic and logo and we worked with that color scheme to create the rest of the site. She wanted tiered navigation and very specific content on each page. She is currently using a content management tool that I make available to my clients on request. I also helped develop an email campaign using Constant Contact.
